The NETFOX Network Security Appliance is just that, an appliance. You do not need to download or compile any software. You do not need a dedicated machine to run the NETFOX. All you need is a TCP/IP based network and an HTTP/SSL compliant web browser.

30 Second Installation

The NETFOX literally has a 30 Second Installation! All you have to do is simply take the NETFOX Network Security Appliance out of the box it came in, plug it into a power outlet, connect the ethernet cabel into your network, and turn the power on.
All configuration of your network security policy is done through a web browser.

Access to the NETFOX
|
|
|
|
The NETFOX is an appliance that runs on your network.
Users can connect to the NETFOX via a web browser. Access is granted on a need-to-know basis. There are 4 types of users:
The NETFOX Configuration Adminsitrator creates policy and maintains the NETFOX.
NETFOX Network Adminstrators create the network baseline, run scans, and enforce policy.
NETFOX Managers can disseminate policy amendments and view readonly historical scan data.
NETFOX Users have a central web-based location for your organization's security policy/education. They have the ability to perform TCP/UDP scans upon their own workstations to further educate themselves to computer security.
