The Foxhole
Trojan Horse - Back Orifice
In August 1998, a trojan horse program called "Back Orifice" was released to the Internet. This program allows a remote user (legal or illegal) almost total control over the victim's system.

You should determine if this program is active on any of your networks and remove it immediately. The original Back Orifice program allowed remote access via UDP port 31337.

Note: On later versions of Back Orifice the access port number can be changed.

CERT Advisory
NETFOX: SCAN MY NETWORK
Note to NETFOX Administrators:

"SCAN MY NETWORK" will do a "NETFOX WHAT SCAN" to your complete range of NETFOX networks.
